What's going on? That's what I had to figure out this past weekend. As you may remember, I had been without my laptop for several weeks now. Including not having any internet at all for the last 10 days. And as you read in my last update, I received my laptop from repairs again last Thursday while in Virginia. I have had several website design customers who have been patient with me through this ordeal. Now six weeks later I needed to try and figure out where I left off in their construction. So we needed to find another campground to settle for the weekend and not do anything but get caught up with my work.
We left Virginia on Friday and headed south down to North Carolina. We got off to a late start due to home schooling in the morning and then we stopped at Chesapeake Bay for lunch in the RV. We also took a few minutes to enjoy the beach. Needless to say, we didn't make it all the way to the campground we were looking for and at dinner time I just decided to pull over and we camped overnight at a WalMart parking lot.
The next day, we continued our way to the campground and setup. It wasn't much of a campground, but we weren't there to do anything but rest and work. Huh? I think you understand. We needed a rest from site seeing and catch up on work. So there's not much to tell you about in this update and only a few photos from Chesapeake Bay.
The coming week will be busy again with visiting Andy Griffith's town of Mayberry (Mount Airy, NC), Mount Pilot, and Raleigh. I hope you come back again. Don't forget to drop by the message boards
to say hi.
