Well we've spent the last 10 days in Maine visiting with Cricket's mom, other relatives, and friends.
Arriving at White's Beach and Campground in Durham, Maine, we almost had to go elsewhere. They had plenty of campsites available, but they were in the woods. That wasn't good for our satellites. We wanted to stay up along the field area where there wasn't any trees. But due to recent rains, they were having sewer issues. But just as we were getting ready to drive away, they told us we could stay at one of the front sites anyway. That worked for us.
Compared to our past adventures, we hadn't done a whole lot these past ten days. We spent most of the time with relatives. On a couple of days, we got out and did some hiking and Geocaching. One of our favorites was down an old railroad track alongside the river bank. The weather was sunny and cool with temperatures in the 70's. It was a good day.
Tomorrow, we leave Maine and head back down to Florida. We'll be stopping briefly in Atlanta for a couple of days while we wait to see what an approaching hurricane does.
See you back real soon,
